"Tengejin" -- The International Day
If you had only an hour, how would you introduce your culture to others?

"Tengejin", which means "friend" in Burmese, is also known as International Day, where the children are able to learn about different cultures and people from around the world. At Tengejin, a group of representatives from different countries talk about their cultures, people, traditions and life styles.

In October 2002, the children will be learning about the countries of Brazil, Sweden and the U.S.A. Representatives from each country will have a full hour to introduce their culture to the children in an interactive format that includes discussions, dance/musical performances, cook-outs, games, slide shows, etc. If you are interested in helping to organize or participate in this educational event, please contact:
